Hockey Tournament in Canada

We are traveling Canada this weekend (1-8 / 1-10) for a Youth Hockey Tournament in Forest, ON. Silver Sticks Tournament. We just learned one of our players does not have a passport( or shall I say parent never followed through with getting a passport). We have been told by the parent, that a letter from the US Consular granting the indivisual status to move between the US and Canada is available. If thi sis accurrate what do we need to do and is this possible to execute before our trip begins on Friday 1-8? Our time is very limited as we are due in Canada on Friday evening(1-8) at 7:00 PM for our first game.

Appreciate any information you can share.

Best regards,

Mike Alfaro

Hi Mike, Here's my informal advice, as I have no special knowledge or qualifications in this area. Call right now and talk directly to both the US and Canadian authorities. Remember that neither country really has the authority to speak for the other.
