Ho much did you drink the wine/ How much wine did you drink?

Sometimes we say "How much+N+ do/ does+S ?" Ex: How much wine did you drink?/ How much money did they get from him?

I am wondering if I can make the sentence like the two ones below ? "How much + do/does+S" ? "much" as adverb here?

1. How much did you drink the wine?
(means how much did you drink "the wine which is determined" like how much did you drink from the glass of wine, the bottle of wine;
whereas in how much wine did you drink, "wine" here is not determined no matter what kind of wine and how much you drank)

2. How much did they get the money from him?
(means how much did they get from "the money which is determined and is a sum of money"; whereas in how much money did you get from him, "money" here is not determined no matter how much it is)

In this sense,

Can't I say: How much did you drink "it" ?
How much did he eat "that"?

Aren't they workable either?

No.

Old fashioned: How much did he eat / drink of it?
Modern: How much of it did he eat / drink?

One more question:

How much did he take it?
(How much has he been through? To what degree did he takes it)

Can much as an adverb to modify "take it"?

Or how much did he endure "it"? (To what degree did he endure it?)

What does "it" refer to?

I can think of two possible contexts:
1. In a ****** contest of pugilists (it = the pummeling)
2. In a situation of throwing increasingly pernicious insults. (It = verbal abuse)

Belinda ChenOr how much did he endure "it"? (To what degree did he endure it?)
Maybe, if "it" refers to pain and suffering.
Better: How long did he endure it?
