Hi DJ,

You might be interested in looking at this thread on the Forums.
It concerns the link between HIV and AIDS, a link which has STILL not been scientifically proven. The link remains only a hypothesis, after all these years. How can this be?
There are many unanswered questions about HIV and AIDS, the most intreaguing of which is why a significant percentage of people diagnosed with AIDS have absolutely no HIV antibodies whatsoever. This is well documented scientific fact.

I would encourage you to look at these issues as objectively as possible, but be prepared for flak; the AIDS industry is huge, and so is it's funding. There are many people with a financial interest in discouraging investigation of this merely hypothetical link. There is too much at stake for the industry to see it disproven. Scientists who endeavor to question the hypothesis invariably have their funding terminated. Is this good scientific method?

I have listened in radio a voluntary doctor from Africa who was trying to help HIV infected people. He was talking about 2 billion dolars which will be solution for the future of Africa. He was saying that money would be enough but no one cares. What a pity.
AIDS is really spreading by leaps and bounds. There is a documentary in BBC about Russia. It is saying that there are 1 million people HIV pozitif infected people in only Russia. I am actually astonished about the dimensions of this virus.

There is a growing number of concerned researchers who believe AIDS will not go away no matter how much much money is thrown at HIV research, because they believe it likely there is no link between the two. It is interesting to note that as the criteria for an AIDS diagnosis broadens, so increases the number of AIDS 'victims'.

Sorry anonymous but I do not think it's not possible to eradicate this 'evil'. What I think is that the big pharmaceutical companies earned, earn and will continue earning so much money on developing low-treatment drugs to hinder a possible advance of the disease that becomes completely not viable to continue researching ( investing millions/billions ) and the final product ( the cure ) doesn't bring equivalent or higher earns compared to today drugs.
This is how it works, it's capitalism.
