Dear admission officers.

First I would like to express my appreciation for the opportunity to apply for the Avempace project. I hold a degree in Biomedical Systems Engineering from Yarmouk University of Jordan. I have applied for this project last year, but unfortunately, all the odds were against me and I couldn't get the chance to pursue my masters’ degree.

The opportunity to pursue a master's course in Germany or Italy represents the next important challenge in my life. The last two years have taught me that studying and living abroad can help not only broaden my horizons, but accelerate my personal and academic growth as well. The main reasons for choosing The university of Bonn-Rhine-Sieg and Sapienza University of Rome were the high quality of education these institutions offer, the opportunity of meeting and associating with people from all over the world and to be immersed in a society with a global outlook and politically neutral understanding of life, a model to be followed in my opinion.

My objective to pursue a degree in “Biomedical Sciences”, taught entirely in English, plus living and breathing the international atmosphere and integrating with German speaking people in order to develop a third language. This is undoubtedly one of the motivations for studying in Germany. And regarding my other choice to study “Artificial intelligence and Robotics” at Sapienza University, I believe It represents an essential stage of my education which complements well my previous studies. It would also provide opportunities to develop my self professionally to be an Integrated engineer who combines Electric, Electronics and mechanics principles to find the “Causation and Aware of how” to make or solve a certain matter.

If I may to say, I am a man who not easily pleased, but I know that getting in to the Avempace project is a privileged opportunity that a lot of researchers will chase bluntly. And in view of that I live in a third world country and never got this kind of support before, I will appreciate this chance the most. So I believe I am suited for this program, not because am smarter from others, but because I will give unlimited efforts to compete with others and to earn my existence among them.

Finally I am determined to make the most out of the scholarship benefits. I will optimize my stay at The University of Bonn Rhine Sieg/ Sapienza to garner a wealth of ideas that will apply when I return to my country and at the same time contribute to the University's diversity.
