histrionics

I'd had enough of Lydia's histrionics.

From the cambridge dictionary,

histrionics = very emotional and energetic behaviour that lacks sincerity and real meaning.

But still I can't understand.

Could you help me?

Lydia was shouting and screaming and waving her arms in the air. I was not impressed with her histrionic behaviour.
