History - Writing Task 2. Please Help Review My IELTS Writing, Thank You Very Much.

Some people say History is one of the most important school subjects. Other people think that, in today world, subjects like Science, Technology are more important than History. Discuss both these view and give your own opinion.

In nowadays schools, students need to learn more than one subject, such as Math, Physic, Chemistry and so on. One of them is History. While many people agree History as a most important subject at school, many people think it is more valuable to spend time study Science and Technology in today’s world. In my point of view, I disagree with both statements since both History and Science are equally essential for young generation.

On the one hand, we cannot deny the fact that without science and technology, the world surrounding us cannot be as modern as it is now. Studying science and technology at school provide us practical knowledge which is one of the greatest tools help us move forward. Our lives become more convenient and comfortable thanks to the development of technology. Compare to the past, when it took days, even months to transport a message, now all we need is a smartphone.

On the other hand, it is important to learn and understand about history. Our modern lives that we are living are rooted from our ancestors. Without knowledge and information we are provided by our earlier generations, it would be a challenge for our generations to gain advanced achievements like what we have today. Moreover, from our ancestors’ mistake we can learn more experience.

In conclusion, whether it is history or science, they both play crucial roles in developing our nowadays living. Hence, it is necessary for students to learn and gain knowledge from those subjects.
