History

To some people studying the past has little value in the modern world. Why do you think it is important to do so? What will be the effect if children are not taught history?

History is a compulsory subject in the curriculum of primary and secondary schools. Some people are some of the opinion that studying the past is no benefit of that and this subject can be substituted by other more important subject. However, it is not a suitable idea for many reasons. I will argue that the importance of studying history.

It is true that students don’t need to study historical events because it occurred in the past which didn’t implicate at present. But it will have little value in the future as young generation luckily having opportunity to work in foreign countries, you need to know their culture, society their countries. If your historical knowledge having more, you can build good relationship between different countries which help your country integrate with the world.

On the other hand, if individuals find mistakes in the past, people can avoid doing the same mistakes in the future. Moreover, example when students know in Viet Nam nowadays, agricultural economy is shifted to industrial economy, in the future students can expand the improvements in technology. Also the history can be useful in giving a good information for their skills of understand human society or for inventors.

In conclusion, it is undeniable that history is really essential in improvements of human’s future if people use it properly.
