Hi
Is this sentence natural?
He sat on a huge chair resembling a throne, his left leg resting on his right.
Thanks,
Tom
PS: By the way, is there any verb or a more typical expression for the position we assume while sitting when our one leg rests on the other? Cross-legged is different, I assume.
In the US, you might hear: He sat on a huge chair resembling a throne, his left leg crossed over his right.

Better is
eg He sat on a huge chair resembling a throne, with his legs crossed.
eg He sat on a huge chair resembling a throne, with his legs crossed left over right.
Yes, cross-legged is different.
