His friends reported his stange behaviour

A : His friends reported his strange behaviour to the police.

B : His friend saw his strange behaviour and reported to the police.

The above two sentences are translated English sentences. I wonder which sentence is more natural for English native speaker?

If you have better idea for those two sentences, please please add your opinion.

The source language is Korean and my target language is English.

The Korean sentence is as bellow.

???? ?? ??? ??? ?? ?? ??? ????.

But it is okay you can not understand Korean.

I want to know which sentence is more like natural English like English.

"A" sounds way more natural to me.

In B, the verb 'reported' requires a direct object.

B : His friend saw his strange behaviour and reported it to the police.

Both are correct if you take Clive's suggestion 'reported it' to the police

A.just report B. Report with eye witness

A and B are not the same; and B is not correct (reported it to..) A does not presuppose the strange behaviour was seen by the person reporting it. It may have learned or simply suspected without any first hand evidence, or the evidence was other than being sighted. B requires the person reporting the behaviour to have seen it, therefore have first hand knowledge of it.
