Him shot, I had to fight alone

Can one say

a. His father dead, he had to take care of the store on his own.

b. The building blocking our view, we had to rely on what John told us on the walkie-talkie.

c. Him shot, I had to fight alone.

d. The computer having a rechargeable battery, you won't have any problems.

e. Him shooting at me, I had to run for cover.

?

I am pretty sure that they would all work if one put in a 'with' at the beginning. But do they work as they are?

Many thanks.
