Hiii micawber and CJ pls clear it to me

hello

"they asked Ram to make a quick decision" you said that in this sentence 'to make a quick decision' is a verb complement but my teacher said that it is an indirect object b'coz we can make a passive from it,like this

"to make a quick decision was asked to Ram"

is it correct,if not than why?

please clear it to me with appropriate examples.

how can i find out a complement and object in a sentence?

I can't tell you about indirect objects and compliments, but I can say that no one would ever say, "To make a quick decision was asked to Ram."
