Highlight against or from

a) Every month I highlight a product from my website.

b) Some ingredients are necessary to highlight a product against (or "from"?) its competitors.

Are those sentences correct. On the sentence b, could I use "from" instead of "against"?

A is fine. B: I would use 'against', I think, but the phrase ' highlight X against/from/etc Y ' does not really make sense to me- and this goes for the whole sentence-- though I understand what your general intent is. I would write something like this: Every product needs special ingredients/qualities to make it stand out from its competition/competitors.
