Highest of the world??
Hello
I thought we usually say "Mt. Everest is the highest mountain in the world." Would you consider "... of the world" acceptable?
I expected this question to have been asked before, but I can't seem to find it in the forums, so here I post it. Your kindness of taking the time to answer is greatly appreciated.

You need to say "in the world."
You can say "the world's highest mountain."
You need to say "in the world."
You can say "the world's highest mountain."
