I use bigger. It seems to go well with the width in bandwidth. The word bigger conveys an idea of "the same frequency with more connections."

Thank you for the detailed explanation. So, bandwidth is the volumn of information transmisstion for the same connection. By raising the band (i.e., the frequency) the amount of information increases. Therefore, the higher band increases the width (i.e. the volumn of transmission for the same connection, not more connections for the same band).
