High school students are usually not good at managing money. What are the reasons? What are the solutions?

It is said that a large number of students in the high schools do not focus on managing their budget although this is one of the most crucial factors to help them step into the particular life. There are several reasons for this matter, and in this essay, I would like to show some solutions to tackle with.

It goes without saying that the majority of students has been accumulated unessential knowledge from the compulsory subjects, which drive them to learn under the pressure. The teachers are not possible to train the social skills, which support school-age students cultivate and develop themselves in the future. In addition, the parental role in enhancing the managing money for their children has not considered significant. Instead of educating their children about the value of money by taking part in social occupations, or throw themselves in the real life, students are given a specific amount of money for the purpose of satisfying their demands. Consequently, immature high school students have a lack of the skills of managing their own finances.

Some measures are considered to deal with this problem. First of all, it is extremely important to impose a lesson plan for educating managing money as an essential curriculum in the high schools so that school-age student gain deep insight into being the master of financial management. Another solution I should mention is that parents managed to give a strong incentive their children. Finding some permanent jobs to earn their own salary is an ideal way in order to help them recognize the value of money. Besides, parents should have a limitation about money in their children’s wallet, and gain supervision on their spending.

In conclusion, managing money should be a crucial curriculum and consider as the top preference in terms of a way of education not only in the high school but also in the family.
