High burden? on execution?

Hi
Can you please help me with the bold part? what does it mean?
Thank you.

"Since large and complex models are affected by a high burden on execution, we also remark the benefits of parallel and/or distributed computational frameworks."

The idiom is 'a heavy burden', so I don't really know what is intended here. Normally, it would mean that successful 'execution' is very important for such models.

That is jargon and business-speak, not exactly English. I think it means that the computer has to work hard (high burden) when you run large models (on execution).
