Hi,

Can I say,

(a) He hid in the curtain.

Are you asking whether it is grammatically correct? Yes, it is.

Or are you asking if it sounds OK, if is sounds like something we would say? No, it sounds a bit odd. You'd normally say 'He hid behind the curtain'.

Best wishes, Clive
