hiccups

Could you please correct the following? How would you say them?

I've had the longest hiccups ever. I've had them for the past 3 hours.
You would feel more comfortable sitting than lying while having the hiccups.
You have to wait to lose the hiccups before doing that.
You have to wait for the hiccups to stop/end.
I can't get the hiccups to stop.

I've had the longest bout of hiccups ever. I've had them for the past 3 hrs. You'd be more comfortable sitting up than lying down when you have the hiccups.
