Hi what does the sentence mean exactly?

I have received an e-mail from the company: We asked: "could you please check the status of our project and if the testing is done"? They replied: "We have not finalise your project, still processing. We have sought advice from our experts in relation to the testing which is done by a 3rd party". What does their reply mean? a) the testing is done(by a 3rd party), and they have sought advice from their experts(their programmers, not who did the testing). b) they have sought information from experts(the 3rd party, not their programmers) and have no information as yet. Thank you very much!
