Hi there

1) I'm looking for a word, or a phrase, that when people ask you: Do you understand this passage? . The fact is you only understood 30% or 50% or 70%... How do you response them? Something like" Just a little"

2) There's and old song called "Seasons in the sun", what does its title mean?

3)Again, in an old song "Top of the world" , there's a line:

Everything I want the world to be

Is now coming true especially for me

Why not to, but for here (before me)?

I just checked the lyrics at jumbojimbo.com; the man is dying and saying farewell to a friend, his dad and his wife who betrayed him. The 'seasons in the sun' are defined in the song as spring. I think it is, indeed a metaphor for 'good times'.

Hi Belly

Just a note about asking for help with lyrics:
Lyrics are often hard to interpret without quite a bit of context. If you want to know what a line in the lyrics in a song means, it is usually helpful if you post a link to the complete lyrics.
