Hi teachers, hope you would help me review this essay

Some people think that instead of preventing climate change, we need to find a way to live with it. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Climate change is posing a serious threat to our life. Some people, however, argue that we could find method to adjust to it rather than stop it. Personally, I completely disagree with this idea since I believe that we still have time to tackle this issue.

Governments and people could use some methods to address this problem, or at least diminish this. Governments should make some law to prohibit some contaminating activities. For example, they could apply “green taxes" for drivers, factories and polluters that release pollutants. Besides, they should encourage people to use renewable energy such as wind, solar and hydro power which not only raise public's green awareness but also save energy. As citizens, we should also be responsible to this problem, too, by generating some green habits such as use public transportations, avoid using throw-away products, turn off the lights when not using, etc. As a results, instead of squander money as well as discharge pollutants, we could save money to support governments in order to invest in environmental protection policy.

If we altered method to deal with climate change to simply try to live with it, I believe that the consequences would be horrible. Due to climate change, we would suffer from inevitable disaster, for instance, drought, flood, forest fire, etc, For example, I am not optimistic that we would be able to cope with even a small rising of sea levels. Many people would be replaced by flooding, a site would be engulfed if there did not have the means to safeguard. As a result, those people who lose their homes and their jobs, have to migrate to other nearby cities or places, which are likely to lead to the urgent problems of food shortage and hunger.

In conclusion, it is clear to me that we must solve the problem of climate change, and I disagree with those who believe that we should find ways to live with it.
