Given is the bar chart comparing the proportion of automobiles sold by car producers in four different regions namely South and North America, Asia, and Europe in the 5-year period, commencing from 2006. Overall, while Europe was the only area which experienced a sharp growth, a reversed pattern is recorded in North America and Asia area during the surveyed time.
As is presented in the chart, although Asia headed the list with a third of total earning from selling cars in 2006, it only ranked second at 30% with regards to the proportion of cars sold at the end of the period despite a slight increase to 38% in 2008. Surprisingly, starting the period at an average point of a quarter, the figure for Europe reached an impressive peak of doubling the former in the last year.
In stark contrast, North America witnessed a sharp decline in the amount of money collected from manufacturing cars, from 29% in 2006 to approximately a tenth-the lowest percentage of total sales in 2015. It is interesting to note that, there was a marginal fall in South America companies’ earning in the first 2-year, followed by a recovery to the value as same as its first point of 11% in 2010.
