RE: Vacation request for vacation from June12-24
I have been a highly producyive employee and so I do not think that it is out of line for me to make this request.I have put in overtime and even done other's work in the department while they were away.So, I think that it is fair and just, and I can see no reason why I should not be allowes to take my vacation during the last two weeks
Let me explain some of the reasons.I could have others watch my desk and do the work.I have helped them out ,too.and they know it.I have been remarkably dependable.I have been readily accessible whenever their vacations have come around, and so I know it can be done.
I fully realize that this is the busiest time of the year for the company and that vacations are not usually granted during this season.But I do have personal reasons which I think should be honored/respected. Peak business times are major.I understand this,and I do hope an exception will be made in my case.After all, I do have the on-the-job training that other companies would reward.Thanks very much.
