Hi please help with this

Hi. Is "the party was on again" correct and natural?

He fell on the dance floor and hit his head pretty badly, so I drove him to the hospital. When I returned, the party was on again, as if nothing had happened.

The question is: had the party stopped? Is so, then I would say "the party was back on again" (although, yes, you could say "the party was on again). "
