Essay & Composition Writing

Hi Mentors, would it be possible to take a look at my sentences, thanks a lot, regards

That winter, the women in the neighborhood had agreed to gather for tea and chat every Saturday in the house of one the member of the community. They even agreed on paying five pounds for each women coming to the meeting to be given to the owner of the house on that occasion so that when spring arrived twenty five weeks later everyone would have enough money to afford buying dresses for spring and summer season. Everybody had supported this idea and the house meetings would soon begin. In the meetings, Maria used always to sit just next to my mother and whatever my mother said Maria would support, and in return, whatever Maria said my mother would acknowledge it. Suffice to say that, in the meetings, there was no one who had known tradition and customs better than these two women and educated better anyway. It strikes me that except these two women, no one had any idea what the traditions and customs were all about. The majority of them who had migrated from the villages, except Maria and my mother, were illiterate, uninformed, ignorant, and rude. And despite My mother's and Maria's efforts to teach them something, these women's stubborn manner of not wanting to learn anything good was mind-boggling.

Sometimes I see "false religion" applied to these circumstances.
Many highly educated people cannot (or do not) read their original source holy books.
For example, to read the oldest Christian texts, one has to be fluent in Aramaic and classical Greek.

Dear Mentor,
Thanks a lot and I'll be using false religion then. But somehow hearsay is more attractive to me. It is as you remarked the problem of interest but in the case of illiterate people; they are deliberately left illiterate to only follow what they hear as religions from some false Sheikh. Do you see the points?!?
In the case of except for I have just written the followings; if yo

Hearsay is not the same as heresy.
Hearsay is a legal term.
Heresy is a religious term.
