Topic: In some countries, more young adults continue to live with their parents even after they have completed education and found jobs. Do the advantages outweigh the disadvantages?
Living with parents after graduating and getting a job instead of moving out is an ideal path that numerous youngsters opt for. Although many people claim that this would do wonder for the young adults because it helps their life easier, I am of the opinion that it could make them struggle with their later life.
On the one hand, it is believed that the option to continue to live with parents after having a stable career could help people’s life less tough. They do not have to save money to afford an accommodation or to pay the bills. Therefore, the money earned from their jobs can be allocated to the other things such as cars, luxury items and travelling. As a result, these young adults are not as stressed as the others living alone and having to struggle with loads of work to afford the basic needs of human which are homes and foods.
On the other hand, living with parents after being physically mature could make the youngsters’ later life tougher. They are accustomed to the life that they do not have to cook or to do the laundry for themselves. These housework are done mostly by their parents, thus, they live a life dependently. Therefore, if they have to live lonely in the future, which is definite, they will not know how to complete those things by their own. As consequences, eating fast foods and living in an untidy house, which make their life like a mess, would soon happen.
In conclusion, there are several benefits the young adults would have if they continue to live with their parents for longer. Nevertheless, I maintain that this tendency would trigger out some drawbacks they have to face in the future.
