Letter Writing
hi i got a leter frm work and i have no idea what it means. plz some 1 help
okay i got this letter frm work and i was recent laid of on the 18th of november and i work on a ground handaling company .
but i just got this letter like just today which is the 28th of november . all i know what this leter is saying is that they want me to reall to work . but please any 1 can really make any meaning out the first paragrah that would be great about where it says from " pursuant to article 13.00 of the current collective agreement that you are recalled "
that would be great if some 1 can help me withthis and send me to<email address removed - mod>

i am please to advise you that pursuant to article 13.00 of the current collective agreement that you are recalled to the postion of part time ground service speciallist effective december 17th of 2006.
please respond in writing by december 5th, 2006.
Should you decline or fail to respond, you will forfeit your recall rights to this postion and remain in your present classification and pay rate.

Hello Anon It seems to refer to a collective agreement between the employer and the employees, perhaps through a union of some kind. There is a paragraph in that agreement which relates to your situation. If you have any doubts about taking the job, you could ask the employer for a copy and explanation of article 13.

thanks for raplying. yeah ill do that but you know wher it says 13.00 of the current collective dose that mean they jacked up my pay? cuz it was 11.00 some thing ? or there is like an article that they are talking about?
