Hi I am preparing for IELTS General training test. Please review the essay

This essay is for IELTS General Training writing section 2.

A company in which every employee is made to feel important will run more smoothly and experience greater success than a company that values some employees above others

Employees are most valuable resource for a company. Any company which has a long term vision and aims at accomplishing more, must realize the value of its employees and in their ability to accomplish that goal. Many companies are very keen on hiring good work force who are well qualified and meet their requirements.

The longer the company can keep and employee who is very skilled, knowledgeable and experienced, the more advantageous it would be. Towards this end, companies make every effort like giving raises in salaries, giving bonuses, paid vacations, appreciating them etc. Some companies also have ‘employee of the month’ club where they select an employee who is sincere, hard working and contributing to the organization’s growth and reward him accordingly.

Human resource departments in companies as well as top management take proper measures to make sure every employee is treated equally and fairly. This should not be confused with the various hierarchical positions and their authority in the company. For example in an ‘Information Technology’ company, a manager and programmer may have different job responsibilities and authorities, still they are equally important to the company. The top level management of the company should have an open door policy for any employee to walk-in with suggestions, comments or complaints for the organization's growth.

Employees who are treated equally, valued and get recognition for their efforts develop a good relations with the company and stay with the company long period of time and they make great asset to the company. Also in the environment, employees go extra mile to work hard and give all they have got to the company. It’s a win-win situation for both employees and company.

In conclusion, all the successful companies understand the importance of making every employee feel important and valuable. It is one of the goals of an effective organization.
