Hi. I am applying for a scholarship in Japan and the deadline is quite soon. Could anyone please check my Statement of Purpose? I really need it checked this weekend. Thanks a lot for all your dedication and help.

"Statement Of Purpose" requires all of these criteria:

#1: A brief personal background

#2: Why did you choose TIU and the major

#3: How studying in TIU contribute to your future career

(length of the essay 450-600 words)]

“A country cannot exist on its own”. This statement completely marked the awareness of my innate passion, both in my education and my surroundings. From childhood I was motivated to seek in quest of knowledge, ranging from governance, policy; to media, society and other cultural aspects namely traditions, language, values, etc. I am also fascinated by global interaction amongst regions, figuring out how this affects the world in terms of topics of concern such as war and peace, poverty and terrorism. Growing up in such outgoing family, I enjoy meeting new people so as to broaden my social circle and gain knowledge. This helps me realize that the world has so many things to explore such as its diversity and problems. My father, who has a complete comprehension of World History and Geography, imparts useful and relevant information of the world spheres to me, inspires me and encourages me to apprehend them well. He is truly the one who arouses my enthusiasm for this field. The turning-point of my passion for International Relation is when I decided to participate in Olympic Geography in Ho Chi Minh city and fortunately achieved a silver medal. With this accomplishment, I truly set my mind on pursuing this major .

Dating back to primary school, I was extremely impressed by the lifestyle of Japanese which was illustrated by my father. Those characteristics namely appreciating “peace”, respecting hierarchy, having a very good aesthetic perfectly suit my studying style. That is why I am certain that Japan will be the next destination for my longer studies. One day while reading an article about prestigious Japanese universities, I came across TIU and was attracted at once. With the affordable tuition fees and the financial aid policy the student’s life, I reckoned this place would be an excellent learning environment. After that I started scrutinizing TIU’s administration and was extraordinarily happy to know the scholarship policy is widely open for promising candidates. The joy was doubled when I found that my mother’s best friend’s daughter was also a TIU student who will soon attend second semester. After having some information exchange, knowing the number of international students accounts for more than 50%, I believe TIU will give me not only Japanese but also a multi-cultural learning environment. Back in the days when attending junior high, I enjoyed delving into understanding how governments act in respective way , why some are on good terms while others declare wars, how international organizations are functioned and their goals. Whenever I dig into this topic, it always intrigues me and provokes me into acts of deeper research. I have no regrets about opting for International Relations as my major. With a basic but firm knowledge of World Geography, along with persistent desire for taking up this theme, I have every confidence that I have made a wise decision. International Relation advanced courses in TIU are definitely an impeccable environment which greatly helps develop my ability. Ever since I recognized my gift, I have always dreamed of attaining a career which could connect others all around the globe by erasing language borders. Hence, I have found my true vocation in life : being an interpreter. Now that businesses lean towards Globalization, I want to be a part of a global trade, promoting understanding with customers and clients from different races. Moreover, breaking down the language barriers excites me, whether telephonically or face-to-face. My passion for language is ample. Besides mastering English, currently taking up Japanese course, I am also self-studying Korean owing to my love for KPOP. Most importantly, the bilateral relationship between Vietnam and Japan is expanding positively, I believe I can devote myself to enhancing this state after graduating. With solid knowledge, hard work and appropriate methodology, I am confident I am capable of being a budding factor contributing to the success in diplomacy of our nations.
