Hi guys i would like to ask if this is a correct formal letter or should i edit it?

To Whom It May Concern,
My Son, xxxx, would like to drop Additional Mathematics as he find that it is too hard for him and also he have a hard time to cope with Normal Mathematics and would like to use more time to study on it so that he is able pass it, as even his Normal Mathematics’ foundation is weak so if this subject is dropped he would have more time to study and focus on Normal Mathematics to build up on his foundation

There's a lot of repetition there. I'd just write:

My Son, xxxx, would like to drop Additional Mathematics as he finds that it is too hard for him. He would then have more time to focus on his normal mathematics, which is already weak.
