Hi guys I have a question ^^

'This seems quite not right' Vs. 'This seems not quite right'

which one is correct? If they are both gramatically correct, then which one is used more

frequently?

Top answer

Only the second ('this seems not quite right') is correct, meaning that 'this is a little bit wrong'. If you want to say that 'this is very wrong', then you should frame it as 'this seems quite wrong'.
