Essay topics: In many parts of the world, families were larger in the past because people had more children. Do you think there were more advantages or disadvantages to being part of a large family in the past?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge and experience.

In the past, it was true that there were many big families in various regions over the world because they did not have any family planning and methods to avoid giving birth. As a result, they had more children in their families. Personally, the cons of large families were more immense than the pros.

There were some main reasons to demonstrate the advantages of large families. Firstly, living in a big family was a prime opportunity to stick every member of many generations together so that they could support each other in lots of issues in life. Secondly, because of their relationships, they were able to discuss topics without turning it into argument. Finally, it was extremely hilarious and memorable when some members of the family had several special occasions to celebrate such as wedding, birthday, engagement, new babies.

Besides, the drawbacks of large families were principally budget burden. Firstly, the more children they had, the bigger house they had to afford as well as money to pay for their living, education and other activities. Next, time organization would be an inevitable problem. It was difficult to manage and classify the specific time between job works and houseworks that made them become busier and busier in life. Eventually, families with many kids would be lively and filled with noise. Although this made houses more amusing but quarrels among these kids were unavoidable. They could conflict and fight for toys, foods and something incredible.

There was numerous areas in the world that included plenty of large families. Alongside the strongpoint and the weakpoint of these families, from my point of view, the cons were greater because the people had tendency to organize their families easily without consuming much time, cost of living.
