Nowadays animal experiments are widely used to develop new medicines and to test the safety of other products. Some people argue that these experiments should be banned because it is morally wrong to cause animals to suffer, while others in favour of them because of their benefit to humanity.

Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

It would be argued by some that the usage of animals for experimental science to discover cures for diseases and to check the effective remedies. While some individuals say that animals should be protected from unethical experiments on them. In my opinion, it would be better to allow experimentation in animals.

One the one hand, there are a number of reason why some think that animals should be protected from unethical experimental studies. Firstly, with the effect of climate changes and human impact on the natural habitats, many animals are on the brink of extinction, and taking apes are an example. If we continue using them as an experimental source, it will definitely lead to vanish off its face of the earth. Secondly, the government is under pressure from animal protection organizations and some animal protection groups about the issues of stopping research on animals because these actions break serious the rules of human morality.

On the other hand, I believe that it is more beneficial for us to conduct medical or scientific research on animals before publicly using to patients. The first reason is that some animals have the same physical structure as human such as monkey or apes; as a result, if a remedy has a success on animals, it could be an effective method for human means that the scientists have more opportunities to find out the useful measures for recent health problems. Another reason is that the scientists and experts face many difficulties to look for resources to continue their studies. The laboratory animals that they use commonly are rats or birds, and these are not sufficient effectiveness to meet further requirements of high-level research. For example, some analyses could only be successfully implemented on animals that have the genetic structure being similar to humanity such as Ebola, Zika and HIV.

In conclusion, although some people think that we should not use animals as a tool on the testing for private goals or social goals, I personally believe that use animals as the source of studies properly would bring certain benefits for our community.
