Essay & Composition Writing

Hi everyone! I'm preparing for the IELTS soon. So, please help me to correct my essay! Thank a lot!

Task 2: Some people believe that people have the right to university education, and government should make it free no matter what their financial background. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Accessing to university education is considered as the universal right for any social classes. However, in my opinion, that the government fulfills a complete financial need for social background is not an appropriate way.

It is common knowledge that those people who belong to hard-up families cannot be able to gain the basic right of education. They will not have an opportunity to acquire knowledge as well as skills necessary for their career such as doctor or engineer. Without financial support, special talents and intellectual abilities would not be explored and developed. That is the convincing reason that over 20 years, Vietnamese governments have spent 17 billion raising “Green Seeds” Fund with the aim of awarding scholarships for young children in isolated areas. If the low income families are denied the chance of education, the gap between rich and poor is more and more widened. Therefore, governments should provide them with financial resource, which is regarded as the contributing factor not only to overcome the class barrier in society.

The wealthy can completely afford to satisfy their demand for education including paying tuition fees and for their own maintenance during their studies. It gets a great amount of national budgets if the governments make an educational investment for everyone, which obviously puts an enormous pressure on authorities. They are placed in a difficult situation in managing education fund and others properly. As a result of free further, other fields beside education such as social welfare, transportation and environment will be significantly sacrificed.

In conclusion, education is a fundamental privilege for everyone to become a good citizen. Nonetheless, that government allocates a state finance freely to higher education irrespective of backgrounds should be under no compulsion.
