The line graph illustrates the rate of employed women in four different countries between 1985 and 2005. Overall, although the percentage of women employed in Korea, USA and Afghanistan increased, France witnessed a decrease during this 20 year period, Moreover, from 1985 to 2005, USA always had the highest rate of women who had a job.
As is shown from the graph, in 1985, Afghanistan had the lowest percentage of women employed. After that, it rose steadily to 40 percent in 2005, which doubled the percentage in 1985. Similarly, the rate of employed women in USA increased from 1985 to 1995, it then get the high of 65% in 2000 before falling to exactly 60% in 2005
After dropping slightly between 1985 and 1990, the rate of Korean women employed rose rapidly to 55% in 2000 and then remained stable in the next 5 years. France is the only country in the graph suffered a decrease from 40% to just nearly 3% in 2000 despite a slight increase between 1985 and 1995
