The population living in urban areas have been sharply increasing all over the world. There are several advantages concerning health people can gain when living in cities due to more developed facilities. However, I am of the opinion that a healthy lifestyle is much easier to obtain when it comes to the rural areas because the living rhythm there is much slower.
To begin with, it is sometimes believed that there are more health benefits in cities because they have high quality facilities. There are a significant number of modern gym centres and health examination centres where urban dwellers can opt for. Those places do not only help to keep them in shape but they also indicate people health’s situation. Therefore, this could keep people away from several diseases and they would have a longer life span.
Nevertheless, in terms of lifestyle, it is much healthier in the countryside on account of the slow living rhythm. That is to say, rural dwellers do not as hurry as people in cities, which means they have enough time to prepare foods at home. Therefore, fast foods and the others that harm to human’s health are not an option on their daily life like in cities. Moreover, people in the countryside tend to eat what they rise namely vegetables and meats, which are really healthy and do not contain toxic substances like those in cities. As a result, the health quality of people living in rural areas is much higher than those in cities.
To conclude, there are a significant number of convincing arguments both for and against this topic. However, I maintain that it is much easier for people living in the countryside to get a healthy lifestyle.
