Essay & Composition Writing

Hi, can you guys help me with IELTS WRTING TASK 1

The line graph shows the number of UK residents visiting abroad and foreigners going to the UK over the period given. The second bar chart indicates various popular countries which UK people visited the most.

It is clear from the first graph that overseas visits to England was fewer than visits abroad by the UK people and France was British people’s most favourable foreign country.

In 1979, the number of visitors to the UK was just around 10 million people and UK people’s visiting abroad rate was low, about over 10 millions. In around 1986, the number started going up rapidly to around 40 million for visits to the UK and roughly 22 million for overseas people travelling to the UK in 1992. Obviously, the chart shows a larger number of UK citizen going abroad than foreign people visiting this country

As is shown in the next chart, UK people seems to love travelling to France the most, about over 10 million people. The second most favourite nation was Spain with nearly 10 million people. The rest three countries including Turkey, Greece, USA were the least favourite countries countries for UK residents to visit, at less than 5 millions
