Hi can you correct the mistake

i have to use the correc tense?

As the semester(progress)progressedI(find)found out more and more about my fellow students.students from some countries were reticent and shy in class.They almost never(ask)have asked questions and (speak)spoke very softly.others of different nationalities (be)are just the opposite.They spoke in booming voices and never(hesitate)have hesitated (ask)asked questions-and sometimes they( interrupt,even)have been interrupted the teacher I(be,never)have been never in a classroom which such a mixture of cultures before.I learned (surprise,not)havent surprised by anything my classmates might say or do.The time we spent(share)have been sharing our ideas with each other and (learn)learned about each other,s customs and beliefs (be)were valuable and fun.As we progressed in our English,we slowly learned about each other.
