i have too many questions related to English grammar where i feel im really weak and i hope you help me, although what i feel they are so silly questions but to let you know that English language is the second language in my country.

1. Whats the difference between "I was told'' and I have been told ?

2. Whats the difference betweenI gave him 10 Dollars and ''I have given him 10 Dollars"?
