can u tell me abt the "pasts" in the english grammer i m facing problem that how can i use it in the sentences pls tell me.its very big proem for me

It is a general question but I think I might be able to help you with an example. say you want to use a verb in the past tense Like want. To most verbs all you do is add the letters -ed at the end of the word.
ex.
Present tense- I want chocolate.
Past tense- I wanted chocolate.
Present- I need money
Past- I needed money
But for verbs like go, "to go", you can't just
