Hey guys, I heard about this website and thought you might be able to help

No secret here, my English is terrible. I'm writing up the BIO for this website you may have heard of.. Corrections would be appreciated, thanks to all!

Well, my only comment is on the switch to 1st person from 3rd person in the 1st sentence, second paragraph.

It would be better to write it consistently in 3rd person or, for more personal and friendly tone, in 1st person.
If you all agree, I would make a stab at a re-write...
