Letter Writing

Hey all, cover letter correction please?

If anyone could help me correcting my cover letter, that would be of great help! Not only grammatically, but : what do you think of it!

Any advice welcomed!

Thank you very much in advance!

Dear Sir or Madam,

Some people can not help but persevering when the first attempt gives no result ; and I am that kind of person. Last April, my job application at ze_company gave no result. But at that moment, the notice period September 2011 probably did not match your requirements. I now hope that you will take time to read this letter and consider my application

I know, and I like the corporate consulting world : I like participating in challenging and various projects, helping a team to get the best of herself ; and I enjoy constantly adapting my perspective to fit the clients will. I know ze_company as the leading consulting company, working for the most important companies in the world to manage their projects, and to help their ideas flourish. I know that working for ze_company will give me the opportunity to work with the best consulting teams around, in an excellent working environment.

I fulfilled various job positions, worked for all kind of companies, and participated in local as well as international projects. My last job, as an international cooperation coordinator, could seem at odds with the rest of my career path. In fact, this last experience, through the responsibilities I had to deal with, the meetings I attended, and all the people I met brought me a lot : in terms of technical skills, but also in terms of 'Soft Skills'. And this will for sure enhance my job performance as a Business Intelligence consultant.

Dear Sir or Madam, I thank you for your time and you attention, and I look forward to discussing my skills, competencies and values in greater detail.

Yours faithfully,

Dear Sir or Madam, Last April, I have sent my job application to your company. But unfortunately, i have not received any response from your company. Perhaps, the notice period (september 2011) and my letter were both out due.

Thank you for the correction and for the advice ; I think a too formal letter won't catch the employer's attention.
