Believe it or not, I have a question in relation to punctuation.
My question is: Do you have any objection as to my use of punctuation marks, capitalization in my posting?
My question is: do you have any objection as to my use of punctuation marks in my posting.

I have two questions: how old are you, what do you do for a living.

The problem with your last question is that you have a tag, so that you wouldn't usually have the format Do you mean... do you not?

You DO mean (do added for emphasis)... do you not? or simply You mean... do you not? is what we expect.

Either of these:

Do you mean, if you bought me a whiskey, would I drink it? (genuin

I have two questions: how old are you, what do you do for a living.

I'd like to offer a slightly different line of thought.

I'd prefer to say either I have two questions. How old are you? What do you do for a living?

or I have two questions: how

>I have two questions: how old are you, and what do you do for a living.

Fiction writers wanting to display casualness for whatever reasons might write this way.
