Here i share my SOP for GKS 2021 program. Please correct my mistakes.
As an anthropology student, I am very curious to know about others culture, their aspects, tradition etc. I will be very glad for to get a chance to learn Hangul. However, I am ongoing of basic language journey by Yonsei University’s language course. I learned basic which can help me to read hangul alphabet and basic introduction. After this scholarship I will be more flexible in this language by language study and I think it is a great opportunity for me as a foreigner to learn new language. It will help me to communicate with native people of korea and I will deeply study their culture, interact with them so easily. Moreover, after pursuing the masters’ degree I will do PhD according to this field. My plan is to do research on Korean culture and art that is my main reason for going there. I believe this Global Korean Scholarship help me to fulfill my dream to study there. Without scholarship it will be difficult to study there because tuition fee and living cost is expensive for me to bear. If I get this scholarship then I can fully focus on my study. To know their culture I need to spend most of time to read literature and survey.
Based on this scholarship I will focus to improve my language skills. Anthropology is a vast subject so it necessary to read literature and various journals, without improving language skills I can do this, there so many journals, I searched before was in Korean language. Then next year I will enter my course of master program, I will fully focus on course structure on remaining semester. I will discuss my future research topic to my supervisor, I need to take precaution to enter Phd . I will read journals on library, if I will do field work then I will publish that paper on journals.
My future plan is after graduate and achieve phd degree I want to attain other post doctoral fellowships, research program there or doing job as an assistant researcher, lecturer under seoul national university or any other university. I will share my campus experience to other people who will wish to come here and my junior’s fellows of my country. Korea is peace full and advanced in education system; I will utilize my knowledge to develop my country about this field. In long future I want to back to my country as a professor of visva-bharati University.
