Here have one sentence that I can't understand, please help me.

The original sentences are here-

Do salespeople approach customers promptly? How soon after entering a selling area is a customer greeted? How do customers respond to the level of service?

I can't understand the yellow part of the sentence because the order of the sentence is strange made me hard to know what exact it is meaning.I can guess but it could be wrong.

How soon after entering a selling area/ is a customer greeted?(extral questions ,it seems in this sentence there has two parts, can you write it in a normal way,I mean they way is easy to see.)

Thank you,

Rai
