Her or its?

Is it correct to write such question & answer: "How much is the ball. Her price is very high."
The ball is a thing so shouldn't it be "Its price is..."? Is it ever correct to write/say about a thing "he, she, her etc"?

'Her' can make sense in a context that shows the owner of the ball is female.

Her price - the price she charges the customer for the ball
