Which one is proper?

The woman is late for her class since her job/work is fished 5 minutes before starting her class.
The woman is late for her class since she finishes her job/work 5 minutes before starting her class.

I don't really like either of your sentences. These seem better to me: The woman is late for her class since she finished her job/work 5 minutes before it started. (present) The woman will be late for her class since she finishes her job/work 5 minutes before it starts.

I don't really like either of your sentences. These seem better to me:
