Hi

Is this dialogue natural? Any suggestions are welcome.

A - After the illness, her diet has been extremely restricted.
B - By herself or by her physician?
A- Well, partly by herself and partly by her physician. You know she was always a fussy eater, don't you?
B- Yes, I do remember that bit about her. By the way, is she better now?
A- She is except for the weight loss.

The present perfect suggests a period of time extending up to the moment of speaking; since is more natural than after. ... extremely restricted is a much less common collocation than ... severely restricted:
