Good morning.
"Please be advised that all these shipments were not manifested, hence they were not transferred in the system"
Is the usage of hence in my sentence correct?
Thank you.

Anonymous Is the usage of hence in my sentence correct? No, because I'm not sure we know what you mean by 'manifested'. Do you mean listed on a ship's manifest?

At least, it probably should read 'transferred to' or 'transferred into'...unless the transferring occurs inside the system (from one part of the system to another part of the same system).

I apologize for the lack of info. Yes it means listed on a ship's manifest.
And about the transfer, it involves two different system. From sysyem A to System B.
So I guess the correct sentence is
"Please be advised that all these shipments were not manifested, hence_ they were not _transferred to the system" ?

Then I suggest:

Please be advised that none of these shipments were on the ship's manifest, so they were not transferred into System B.

Thank you very much MM for the suggestions! Emotion: smile
It seems much simpler than my sentences..
