Hi! everyone.
Could anyone possibly answer this in the context of "The old man and the sea" ? Or how would you define scientific precision?
There is almost scientific precision in Hemingwian Prose. Discuss.

= the exactness and extreme accuracy required for doing experiments in the sciences, i.e., physics, chemistry, etc.

Hemingway's prose is unusually compact and terse, compared with the writing of other authors. Thus, there needs to be a kind of preciseness to it - everything has to count, no lollygagging about like with other authors - or he wouldn't be able to get away with using so few words.
